[ May 07, 2017 ] IMRAN SHAH Kishtwar, May 06: Commitment to empower villages in the state is a core focus of present coalition government led by Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, People"s Democratic Party, MLC Firdous Tak said during the public meetings in several villages of Kishtwar including Trigham, Vaiean, Pochhal Sanghrambhata, Giri Nagar and Cherhar. The corner meetings were organized to enthuse party workers about spreading the polices of state government across the nook and corners of the state. However, describing as several historic steps taken by the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti for ensuring development of rural areas, Firdous Tak said that the initiatives taken would ensure that the people living there would get all the requisite and modern facilities bringing them at par with the urban areas. Tak added that the commitment to empower every village in the State is core focus of present government. Meanwhile, Tak was apprised about the problems being faced by various villagers and he in turn assured to take up these issues with the senior leaders of the party. He also asked the party workers to educate people about the schemes of state government in the welfare of poor and downtrodden section of the society. Tak said that he is working for the developmental issues of district Kishtwar and requested the party workers to have keen interest for the growth of Peoples Democratic Party in general . Several others who were accompanied with him including District President Kishtwar, Sheikh Nasir, District General Secretary Ishtiyaq Hussain Waza, Zonal President, Arshad Hussain Giri and others.
