Two security personnel’s injured in mysterious firing incident

[ May 08, 2017 ] Kishtwar: Two security personnels of Jammu and Kashmir was injured in a mysterious firing incident in remote Tanta area of Gundow Sub Division in Doda District of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday.As per the details available with "Early Times", some unknown person fired at Police Post Tantna in Gandow Doda at around 2 AM on Mondayin which two police person got injured who were identified by the police sources as Kikar Singh Belt No. 1669 & Mohammad Younas Belt No. 1752, both working as SPO. As soon as the incident took place, some police personal rush to the spot and found both the injured persons lying in a pool of blood. They immediately raise the alram and shifted both the injured persons to District Hospital Doda where they are still undergoing treatment. Senior police officer when contacted confirmed the firing incident at Tanta Gandow added that the matter is being investigated. He said that the area is free from militancy and no movement of militants has been witnessed in the area since long. He said that senior police offical also rush to the spot to investigate the matter and even cannot rule out some rift between the police personals that lead to the firing incident. He said that it is premature to reach any conclusion as off now.
