Congress"s blunders continue to haunt India

[ May 20, 2017 ] There can be no better example of shooting in one’s own foot than India’s clumsy handling of the Kashmir issue. It is a saga of naivety, blinkered vision and inept leadership. Future generations will rue the fact that the Indian leadership failed the nation at critical junctures due to incompetence, ineptitude and selfish interests. The politicians are having criminal records or having criminal cases on them should not be allowed to take part in politics, the funds that are used during the elections should have some limit and it should be investigated properly by govt agencies, also there should be a criteria for a person to enter in the politics like he should be educated and all. Patriotism is the great and selfless passion of love for one’s country. To an Indian patriot his mother and motherland are superior even to heaven. An Indian Patriot is ever ready to lay down his life in the service of his country, India. Many patriots fought against the British rule to secure freedom for India. They never hesitated to sacrifice their comfort, happiness and life for the cause of their motherland. Their patriotism is different from false patriotism, which is a danger to a nation and civilization as a whole. It is sad and disheartens to see that historical blunders committed by congress before and after independence, keep coming in public domain, every now and that. In the latest expose by Media House, it has come to force that the congress party engaged a Pakistani lawyer Chuwar Qureshi, who recently presented Pakistan before the International Court of Justice in the case of alleged Indian spy Kulbhushan Jada, to represent India in the Dabhol power project case in 2004. When battery of highly qualified and efficient lawyers were already there meets kitty besides hundreds of other in the country, but giving an opportunity to Pakistani lawyer to defend India and that to when the relation between two countries were so hostile and the sentiments of every Indian were against the Pakistan .This particular issue has other dimensions also that political parties and politicians barely consider national interest in their pursuit. In the grab of public welfare and National Integration whereas, the reality is every political party has compromised with its ideology to remain in power or to grab power. The live example of this is BJP and PDP alliance in Jammu and Kashmir, which were ideologically poles apart. No doubts, both were having mandate from two different regions to govern the state but, it is the general public which made to suffer due to ideological differences with regard to important and contentious issues. It is useless to expect patriotism from the political parties and especially from politicians.
