Administration harassing Jammu residents

[ July 08, 2017 ] JMC and its appointed Comtech Info Solutions Pvt Ltd vendor for Aadhar enrolment/corrections for Jammu is harassing poor residents of city, Aadhar enrolment forms/correction forms which are supposed to be given free of cost are sold for Rs 5 by only Photoshop available in vicinity. Residents of the city who are visiting Jambo Lochan Community Centre for Aadhar enrolment are asked to visit after fifteen days. The question is if the direction is from administration side, why the administrators are hesitant to put it in writing as well as to issue advertisement notice for general public knowledge and to save them from undesirable harassment. Just for correction in existing cards at the same centre, one is asked to wait for twenty days. Whereas, in capital of country, same day card is made and if any corrections are sorted out same day without any difficulty. Pertinent to mention here that without Aadhar card, new sim is not available in the market and for existing sim holders they are repeatedly getting messages from telecom service providers to link their Aadhar number to continue enjoy their services. For opening a new bank account and for existing customers of banks it is mandatory to submit their Aadhar card numbers. Due to step motherly behaviour of local administration, residents of city of temples are confused and feeling dishearted and is worried about continuation of their Bank accounts and Mobility.
