Total road width front side is 20 feet which most of the times remains busy as there is already existing fuel station, washing centre , Bagad Mandi , Fashion Institute making it difficult to manage traffic on this road and with opening of this washing point, it will add more public nuisance
Also washing point here will also affect water supply in the residential area and there is also likelihood that the owner mustn’t have taken permission from concerned departments permission and NOCs as no wise person would even think of granting permission to open washing point on already Jam packed road

In last few years, the menace of illegal and unauthorized constructions of buildings and other structures in different parts of Jammu Municipal Corporation jurisdiction has acquired monstrous proportion. While preparing master plans/zonal plans, the Planning Authority takes into consideration the prospectus of future development and accordingly provides for basic amenities like water and electricity lines, drainage, sewerage, etc but unauthorized construction of buildings not only destroys the concept of planned development which is beneficial to the public but also places unbearable burden on the basic amenities and facilities provided by the public authorities. At times, construction of such buildings becomes hazardous for the public and creates traffic congestion. Therefore, it is imperative for the concerned public authorities not only to demolish such construction but also impose adequate penalty on the wrongdoer. The leniency on part of JMC to deal with unauthorized commercial construction has resulted in chaos and confusion in implementing JMP-2032 and Unified Building Bye-laws 2021.To put the things in perspective, another washing centre on Trukuta Nagar and Channi Himmat link road near petrol pump in Ward-52 has been established without getting site plan approved from JMC. The fact of the matter is total road width front side is 20 feet which most of the times remains occupied and remains busy and also it is only Link Road to connect Channi with Trikuta Nagar. Moreover there is already existing fuel station, washing centre , Bagad Mandi , Fashion Institute where it is already difficult to manage traffic on this road and with opening of this washing point, it will add more public nuisance. JMC must look into this as traffic on this road is already a challenging task and permitting owner to open huge washing point on that road in evening will make this road totally jam packed which will prove nightmare for two-wheelers and Four-wheelers besides pedestrians who will have to face huge difficulty in reaching their respective destinations timely. It deserves mentioning here that this washing point has been opened in bifurcated plot where there was marble sale point under name and style Ashu Marble on whole of vacant plot. Also washing point here will also affect water supply in the residential area and there is also likelihood that the owner mustn’t have taken permission from concerned departments permission and NOCs as no wise person would even think of granting permission to open washing point on already Jam packed road.
