Notwithstanding the fact that the LG Manoj Sinha monitored high profile anti-encroachment drive particularly covering water bodies /govt land from Narwal to Kunjwani generating high hopes that finally land grabbers will be tasked to work but so far it has been proved ineffective as the drive was carried out on pick and choose basis taking action against few and sparing big fish who till now remained largely untouched.
The glaring example of this is that one Rajesh Gupta s/o Bodh Raj Gupta proprietor of BEE TEE Gupta Transport Company is continuously raising huge commercial structures for the last five years openly and brazenly on the land approximately measuring 10 Kanals on the main Bye-pass road without permission from any of concerned competent authorities. During four to five years the owner has raised five to six huge commercial complexes including RVJI Global Building, RVIT and other commercial Establishments and even these commercial constructions are continuing unabated under the nose of JMC,JDA authorities. The pictures clicked at site depicts construction going on leaps and bounds as this area is active scrutiny of Revenue authorities who have demolished adjoining buildings but no action has been taken against Rajesh Gupta’s huge commercial establishments which is not only surprising but also put question mark on concerned authorities why no action taken against him.
It is not out of place mention here that Rajesh Gupta is raising constructions in violation of notification issued under SO439 dated 24 Dec 2021 by not seeking any permission for land use change permission from JDA thus causing huge loss in crores to govt exchequer which is nothing but criminal negligence on part of Govt functionaries who are responsible for implementation of land use change permission which has caused loss worth crores to govt exchequer.
It is highly questionable on part of concerned agencies why no action taken against Rajesh Gupta for raising such gigantic commercial structures on encroached land without permission from any of concerned agencies and also against JMP-2032 and Unified Building Bye-laws 2021. In this regard, the need of hour is constitution of high level committee monitored by Com missioner Secretary Revenue to put to task those whose dereliction of duty has allowed such a huge nature unauthorized commercial construction with violation of land use change against JMP-2032 and Unified Building Bye-laws 2021 by establishing various commercial establishments even without paying requisite fee to JMC/JDA.
