During functions Guests Park vehicles in short lane which creates chaos/ problem for locals and even guest take drink and throw empty bottles in lane and drains causing huge public nuisance

Jammu Municipal Corporation has badly failed to take action against serious nature violators notwithstanding the fact that several social and RTI Activists have fulfilled their professional duties by timely bringing serious violations in kind notice of JMC higher authorities and several time in JMC enforcement staff but they never take action against violators timely as they have no regards for genuine complainants whose fundamental rights time and again violated due to non-serious un-professional duties of JMC higher authorities and particularly JMC enforcement staff. To put the things in perspective, Social & RTI Activist Mohd Sadiq Poswal, Extension, Trikuta Nagar Jammu after making every possible effort to seek action against Paramjeet Singh & others owner of banquet hall namely Kings Ville established on survey No. 781( State Land),782, 783 etc. measuring 12 kanal 16 marla situated at village Deeli of South Jammu in Ward-52 extending area of banquet hall by purchasing adjoining residential plots and converting it into commercial by sheer violations of norms.
When nothing was done,Poswal has filed a written complaint before Commissioner JMC alleging that after purchasing adjoining plots they raised boundary wall upto 25 feet which covered ventilation/air of residential houses in the area. He further said in the complaint that last year they purchased a plot and covered it by steel sheet upto 25 feet which was objected by residents and on it they abuse and threaten them. Even police came on spot but despite it no body dare to stop them for raising boundary wall beyond limit and extending banquet hall towards residential area which make life of locals hell living adjoining it due to noise pollution and kept gates of banquet hall towards residential areas.
The complainant further said that JMC provided permission to them by throw away rule and norms to run banquet hall adjoining School / Jama Masjid and within thickly populated area after getting huge graft not ruled out. At present they purchased another plot which located just opposite complainant house among a Jama Masjid and extension work of banquet hall going on residential plot to convert it commercial to run activity of hall which he objected strongly and requested JMC to stop extension work of banquet hall immediately as per rule and norms.
The complainant further said that that during functions vehicles of guests park in short lane which created chaos/ problem for residence and even guest came in these lane during functions to take drink and throw empty bottles in lane and drains which also objected recently by locals as well as particularly by him due to a Jama Masjid also located in same lane. Poswal demanded JMC to cancel permission of operation of banquet hall which located just adjoining to School and within thickly populated area which cannot be allowed as per law and norms if followed. He appealed competent authorities to address the matter on urgent basis and demanded an immediate order in this regard to stop work of extending banquet hall towards residential area and closing permanently gates kept inside small lane of adjoining residential houses in Ward 52.
